EDIT: Usage of all version ripkit
A lot of users are having trouble using the all version ripkit. YOU NEED TO USE THE ORIGINAL.ISO (BLANK) PROVIDED WITH THE RIPKIT.
How to use:
-=-=-=-=-
1. Select the original.iso given with the ripkit.
2. Use UMDgen to open ripped iso and extract all the contents.
3. Now, open your original iso (not CSO) with UMDgen and click on file>>filelist>>export and save file.
4. Now drag and drop the extracted contents from the ripkit-generated iso to the UMDgen window.
5. Go to file menu>>filelist>>import>>load the previously saved .txt file. Yes to force positions.
6. Dummy the contents of update folder and boot.bin in SYSDIR folder.
7. Save as CSO.

And please do try and read the "how to use" part.

The music stops working after like 5 seconds. It starts back up later, but only when the song is "supposed" to change.
All the sound effects, and stuff work fine, you can even play Alex's flute thing and have it work. Its just the music. It cuts out, and music is a big factor in this game.
Awesome Ripkit though. :). Hope you can fix my issue.

Even after all the instructions you have given me, thank you for that addyaustin, the BGM still cuts out after 30 seconds. >.>. And it is only compressed to 485 mb. I don't know. I am probably going to stick to my 505 mb, that is my custom one with the original BGM files in it. Thanks. ^.^. If you can sort out out my problems, that would be much appreciated. I am an utter newb when it comes to stuff like this.

thanks,
Mendel

I've tried running this on my US copy and can't get it working :?

Here's what I did:

Downloaded the first ripkit (LSSH 457mb ripkit+patch)
Tested and passed the MD5 check
Applied ripkit
Compressed

This produced a 457MB CSO but as noted the music stops working after 5 seconds!

The problem i've got is that I can't run the second ripkit (LunarSSH all ver fix ripkit) to fix the audio issue. My original disc image will no longer pass the MD5 check and obviously the already ripped ISO is only 498MB so this won't work either).

Would appreciate if you could help me on this :)

Dude, the all version kit works with the original (blank) iso provided with the ripkit. You were not supposed to use the first ripkit. If you have used it won't make any difference though.
Just apply the ripkit using the original.iso given with the ripkit. Extract the ripped ISO. Extract YOUR iso and overwrite the pmf_us and sound_us folders from the ripped ISO to your ISO's contents.

Now, Drag and drop PSP_GAME folder and UMD_DATA.bin to UMDgen window. Dummy update and boot.bin
Save as CSO.
